The Blue Hills Fire Department Banquet Hall Rental Information

Our Hall is where we hold our monthly meetings and where our new members first become part of the department. This Hall is also where we hold most of our events and entertainment.

We recommend rentals be booked two weeks in advance.

This space is also available for rent; it is the perfect place to hold your next party or event.
This hall comes with tables and chairs, holds up to 108 people, and features a commercial kitchen which is not available for cooking. The room is big enough for a dance floor, and DJ when renting our Hall.

The funds for the use of this may be used for our volunteer recruitment and retention initiatives, as well the ongoing maintenance and future renovations of the hall itself.

FEE SCHEDULE – All rental fees are based on up to 5 hours of usage.

Five Hour Party, Business Workshop or Seminar

Hall Rental – $900.00 OR $180.00 per hour

Full payment (cash, bank check, wire money transfer, or money order) is due at the signing of the contract with the complete rules, and regulation form.

**Each Additional Hour is $130.00 an Hour

Other Parties: – Non-Residents – Additional $50.00 (proof of residency is required)

Children’s parties held between the hours of 1pm – 5pm and limited to no more than thirty guests

Children’s Party with Tour – $450.00

Children’s Party without Tour – $350.00

Meetings (Mon-Thurs) – $350.00

Funeral Repass (Mon-Fri) – $400.00

Funeral Repass (Sat & Sun) – $500.00

Showers and Baptisms are all considered regular parties and fall under the normal 5-hour rate.



  • You are responsible for leaving the Hall space in the clean and sanitized environment you met it.
  • Failure to do so will return in an automatic $100 cleaning service fee.
  • You are required to indemnify The Blue Hill Fire District with proof of Liability Service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hall rentals start at five hours. The additional hourly rate beyond the give hour is  $130.00 per hour. ALL events may not run past 2:30 AM, but you may start as early as you would like.

Guests must begin leaving the hall by 12:30 a.m. All parties with extended hours must be decided at the time of contract. No parties will be extended on the date of the party.

Guests can park only in the parking area on the hall back side of the building, there is no parking up close to the building. A Blue Hills Fire Department representative will be onsite during all parties to only monitor parking on our site and be available should a problem occur in the hall. In addition to duties and directing vehicles where to park, the parking monitor is responsible for enforcing rules and regulations signed at the time of contract.

We have seating for 108 people which is the maximum capacity for any party. There are 18, 8-foot rectangular tables.

Our hall kitchen features a commercial grade stove/oven with six burners and a flat top griddle. Our refrigerator is a regular refrigerator/freezer and can only hold small amounts of foods that need to be kept cold before your event. The kitchen is not available for cooking.

Our hall is handicap accessible.

All tables and chairs must be stack back on each respectful rack. All garbage should be bagged and thrown in the trash bin located in the back parking lot at the rear of the building, sweep the floors, and leave the space in a respectable condition. Garbage left out, food stuck on floors/walls, excessive mess in bathrooms or garbage left in the parking areas, are all grounds for an additional fee to be requested. Blue Hills Fire Department will provide garbage bags.

We have a strict policy in place restricting holds. Hall dates are available for rental on a first come first serve basis.

Full payment (cash or money order) is due at the signing of the contract/rules and regulations form. A contract will not be signed without full payment and the hall will be left as available for others who may be interested.

Deposit are part of the hall rental fee; therefore, no refunds will be given.

Live bands are permitted.

Smoke machines are not permitted in the hall as they activate the buildings fire alarm.

Yes. The Blue Hills Fire Department is not responsible Alcohol related incidents and/or damages.

This is allowed if the hall is not rented the night before, you must e-mail the hall director [email protected] to check availability of the night before your party.

The Blue Hills Fire Department is NOT liable for any damages whatsoever, including any Incidentals, consequential or punitive damages.
