ANNUAL DISTRICT BUDGET MEETING
Please be advised that the Annual District Budget Meeting of legal voters of the Blue Hills Fire District will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 7:00pm., at the Fire Headquarters: 1021
Blue Hills Ave., Bloomfield, CT.
The purpose of the meeting is as follows:
1. Call to order
2. To elect a Moderator
3. To set the tax mill rate and due date.
4. To adopt a budget and lay the tax for the fiscal year 2026-2027.
5. To authorize inter-fund transfer.
6. To authorize the Board of Fire Commissioners to borrow money to meet current
expenses.
7. To authorize the Board of Fire Commissioners to appoint an Auditor and Tax Collector
for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
8. To transact any other business to come before this meeting.
